Our History
Are you looking for handcrafted hardwood furniture? Here at Horning's Woodcraft we offer dining, storage, and custom furniture. Our furniture is made to order, so expect a wait time of a few months. Horning’s Table & Chair Shop was started by Uncle Michael Horning in 1956. Later his son Leon took over the business. In 2001, Lynford bought Horning’s Table & Chair Shop, and the name was changed to Horning’s Woodcraft. Leonard joined the business in 2002, and the brothers worked together until Leonard started Horning’s Hardwood Furniture in Myerstown in 2013. Luke Ray, another brother, worked here part time until 2014. He now makes our tables & chairs at his own shop in Stricklerstown, L.R. Horning.
Today, Lynford and sons Justin & Ethan work together to continue the furniture tradition!
